Personal Data

Personal information is information, which is related to individuals and (in the broadest sense) say something about themselves or their living conditions, for example, the name, address, phone number, etc. This includes information like your IP address and how you have used the Internet at this address. Information that is not associated with your identity (such as the number of users of the site) are not covered. You can use our online services without revealing your identity and without your IP address being stored.

If you send e-mails to the e-mail addresses published under https://eap.rlp.de, these are sent without encryption to the Point of Single Contact or the MWVLW. All sent information may therefore under certain circumstances be viewed by third parties during transmission. For security's sake, you should not send passwords, credit card numbers or other information you wish to keep secret, by e-mail. The integrity of the data can not be granted at the moment.

Data sent through the contact form of the website https://eap.rlp.de is transmitted encrypted and so protected against inspection by third parties during the transmission.

In connection with your access, data is stored anonymously on our servers for security purposes, we do not store full or reproducible IP addresses of our users. The IP address is not used to identify the user and there are no individual or pseudonymised user profiles created. The statistical analysis of anonymous data records remains reserved.

Handling personal data of registered users

The rlp-service offers registered users a safe access to egovernment services of Rheinland-Pfalz. To ensure safe use and trouble-free operation of rlp-service and the website https://eap.rlp.de, it is necessary that personal data is collected and processed. This is firstly log data generated during the use of rlp-service and the website https://eap.rlp.de. Secondly, it is user data that is collected, provided that it may be necessary for the administration to come in contact with you and anonymous use is therefore not possible. This user data is collected in your initial registration.

The personal data used in https://eap.rlp.de and rlp-service, divided into user and log data, are listed below:

• Sent questions/applications to authorities

You can check your account and change part of its content. Furthermore, you can delete your account. The user account is then turned off immediately, i.e. it will no longer be available for login. After deletion of the user account by you, the user data collected will still be stored for a period of 6 months to clarify any ambiguities or demands that may arise in the aftermath of the use of rlp-service or the site https://eap.rlp.de. After this period, the user data will be permanently deleted.

The log data is stored for 30 calendar days from being logged by the rlp-service or https://eap.rlp.de, after this period, the data will be permanently deleted.

The aforementioned personal data is protected against unauthorized access through technical and organizational measures. The data is used only in the context of your requests on the part of the PSC to the appropriate authorities. A transfer to other third parties for commercial or other purposes does not occur.

The aforementioned data collected by https://eap.rlp.de or rlp-service falls under the protection of Telemedia Act (TMG). Because of this, a collection and processing through the rlp-service or https://eap.rlp.de is only admissible, if you have consented to the collection and processing of data. This consent may be revoked at any time with effect for the future by deleting your account.

If an account created under https://eap.rlp.de logs on to the website www.rlp-service.de the privacy policy of the rlp-service applies.

Consent to data processing

Your registration can only be completed successfully if you agree in the storage and processing of your data.

With the approval of the data processing, you agree that your personal information in rlp-service or https://eap.rlp.de is stored and processed automatically. Consent may be revoked at any time with effect for the future by deleting your account. Inactive Account

When the last log in on rlp-service or https://eap.rlp.de dates back more than 2 years, the inactive user account is deleted. 30 calendar days prior to the deletion of the account, the user is notified of the imminent cancellation by e-mail. In this way it is ensured that the rlp-service or the site https://eap.rlp.de store and process only actually required personal data.

Important hint regarding your password

Keep your password absolutely secret so that no unauthorized person gains access to your data. Do not give your password to anyone on demand. The technical support staff is not authorized to know your password.

Cookies

A "cookie" is a piece of data that is sent from a website to your browser, which may then be stored on your system. We use session cookies to thus adapt information from a website to your needs.
