Start-up takes more than just approvals
As an authorities' finder, the Point of Single Contact provides assistance in obtaining approvals and permits that are required to run a business. Entrepreneurs require most licenses for becoming self-employed.
However, approvals and permits are not the only things that are required for becoming self-employed. They constitute the final step in establishing one's own company.
The state government, chambers and associations provide a wealth of information and guidance in this regard. Financial support is also available for start-ups.
The Start-up Initiative of the State of Rheinland-Pfalz informs about the state funding and provides a wide range of information, advice and financial support for the founders.
